Jeff Wellman has been in the business of real estate and real estate investment since 1985, when he obtained his license to sell real estate in the state of Michigan.  He earned his brokers license within three years and was managing a real estate office by the age of 27.  Jeff opened his own real estate office in 1992,  a RE/MAX franchise in Boyne City, Michigan, which quickly obtained premier market presence in the area.

Jeff started investing in real estate at the age of 25, and currently owns everything from single-family homes and apartment buildings to commercial shopping centers.  Jeff spends most of his time developing real estate and learning new and creative ways from his mentors in the real estate world on how to buy, sell, and develop every type of property.

Jeff lives in Boyne City, Michigan with his life partner and wife Julie, and three children.  Above everything Jeff loves spending quality time with his family sailing across the upper great lakes between Michigan and Canada, when weather permits.  Jeff also enjoys the snowy northern winters of the area.  He’ll tell you there’s nothing better than the quiet solitude of cross country skiing through a cold fresh snow covered woods with the expectation of cuddling with his family nestled near a roaring fireplace upon his return home.
