Just wanted to share my success with your readers. I'd
always been interested in real estate investing, but
never had the guts to try it (or learn it) until a month
and a half ago. I was out with some friends, and one of
them was telling us he had just made $7,000 investing in
real estate.
"How???" I asked. He went on to tell me the little bit
that he knew about wholesale deals, and how he has a
friend who taught him the ropes and walked him through
his first deal. I was completely fascinated.
I went right home and started reading Online. (The first
site I came to was Real Estate For Life. Thanks!)
In the last month and a half I have been learning, I put
together my first deal and made $2,000 by negotiating a
great deal on a house and assigning the contract to an
investor. I was ecstatic! $2,000 was more than I was
making in a month working 40+ hours a week at my day
job.
At this point, I took things a lot more seriously and
started developing more contacts. As of today, I have
eleven other houses scheduled to close in the next two
weeks. I'm busy busy busy, but VERY excited!
I have made more in this short amount of time than I
EVER have in a whole year's worth of working for someone
else. I am moving into my own office next week. (I like
to break up my home and work life.) And now, the guy who
got me interested in this is asking ME questions about
how I moved so quickly!
I thank you guys for giving me so much information for
free and giving me hope that I could do this. I'm 23
years old and excited about my future and all the
possibility that this business brings my way.
